Richard Mitterhuber advises German and international companies on transactions, reorganisations and insolvency-related corporate matters, such as distressed M&A, restructurings, cross-border mergers, liability in corporate groups as well as planning and implementing strategies for dealing with creditors. His practice also covers shareholder disputes.
Richard joined CMS in 2001 and was made partner in 2009. In 2006 and 2001 respectively, he was seconded to the international commercial law firm DrinkerBiddle in Chicago and to Hunt & Hunt, a World Law Group firm in Sydney. Before starting his career as a lawyer, he was a research assistant at the University of Regensburg.
