The General Counsel Roundtable is an invitation only event for general counsel all across Europe, hosted by the European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA). The event will bring together a limited number of general counsel and decision makers from legal departments to discuss in depth current challenges and latest developments in antitrust and competition law. The event is planned as a half-day exclusive meeting that includes open dialogue during a fireside chat on the eve of the roundtable.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek
Frederik Wiemer has been a partner at law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Hamburg/ Germany since 2010. He has many years of consulting experience in all areas of German, European and international antitrust and data protection law. Focus of his work is cur- rently on merger control, antitrust litigation, compliance advice, and defence in antitrust investigations.
He studied law (Dr. iur. utr.) and economics (Dipl.Volksw.) in Heidelberg and Strasbourg and received his doctorate as a member of the Heidelberg Graduate College being a scholarship holder of the German Research Foundation. He spent his legal clerkship in Cologne, Speyer and New York. After his admission to the bar in 2000, he worked for major international law firms in Düsseldorf, London and Brussels.
His clients include domestic and foreign listed and medium-sized companies as well as trade associations.
Frederik Wiemer is the author of various professional articles and a speaker at national and international conferences and seminars. He is a member of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht, the International and American Bar Associations and the DICO Institute for Compliance. In addition, he is appointed a Non-Governmental Advisor to the Internatio- nal Competition Network of antitrust authorities (ICN).
